When Life Really Sucks

I try to always write positive articles to help us all (myself included) get through tough times. But sometimes I’m just in a mood where the positivity makes me want to roll my eyes.

Life really sucks sometimes!

And when I get to the point where my methods of getting out of a slump, fixing my mindset, and being grateful are just plain exhausting I take a break and I let it out. Let out the anger. Let out the sadness. Let out the frustration. It’s hard work trying to be positive when everything is going south. So focus on getting that positive mindset but don’t beat yourself up.

Take breaks.

Feel the emotions as they come. If you notice, they usually come in waves. Some days you feel ready to conquer the world and others you feel like your world is crumbling. You’re not going crazy, you’re just human. Don’t fight your emotions, embrace them. Get it all out and then comfort yourself knowing that life continues regardless of your situation. And that’s the beauty of it.

The universe works in mysterious ways but always with a purpose.

If you look at every struggle as a lesson, it makes it a little more tolerable. Know that everything happens for a reason you just might not see the reason until it’s the right time. We are never given more than we are ready to master. You are strong and you have all the tools you need to be successful. They are inside of you. You have the ability to create the world you want. One day you will look back at the suffering you have endured and be amazed at how necessary it was. The tough times are what allows us to learn and evolve.

I take comfort in knowing that we’re never really alone in this insane journey of life.

Because even when you feel like no one could understand what you’re going through, there’s people out there that can. That’s one thing we all share in common. We go through this life and we deal with these emotions and this messed up world and we fight. Don’t stop fighting. We’re all in this together. I hope you can take some tips and comfort in some of my articles and if it’s one of those days where you just want to wallow in your misery, do it. Masking it and suppressing it won’t help either.

Let it out and then let it go.

Time heals all when you put the work into it. Be patient with yourself and be kind to yourself. You deserve it.
